Liporase is a hyaluronidase-based injectable enzyme approved by the Korea Food & Drug Administration (KFDA) for medical use in aesthetic procedures. It is primarily utilized to dissolve unwanted or misplaced hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers, such as those used in lip augmentation or facial contouring. Additionally, Liporase can enhance the effectiveness of fat-dissolving injections by facilitating the absorption of fat cells

Composition and Dosage:

• Each vial of Liporase contains 1,500 IU of hyaluronidase.

• To prepare the solution, mix the lyophilized powder with saline (typically 3 mL) to achieve a 1:1 ratio.

• The reconstituted solution is then injected into the area where the filler needs to be dissolved

Applications:

• Correction of overfilled, uneven, or incorrectly placed HA fillers.

• Emergency treatment for accidental intra-arterial filler injections.
